Hospice of Scotland County has earned the reputation for providing the highest quality of end of life care in Hoke, Scotland, Robeson, Richmond, Chesterfield, Dillon and Marlboro Counties. Since 1986 this agency has been driven by service, striving daily to meet all the needs of their Hospice patients. This community has witnessed the depth of our commitment and has responded generously with financial contributions. Industries, businesses, families, individuals, churches and civic organizations have supported the mission of our Hospice ministry. However, families, who have been recipients of Hospice care, know first hand the "special kind of caring" terminally ill patients need.

"I would like to thank the Hospice staff for their kindness and love during my Father's illness. You are wonderful people. I don't know how we would have made it without your help."

"Thank you so much for all you did to help us during my wife's last days. This has been a trying experience. I was very touched by your loving care and gentleness."

Some services at Hospice of Scotland County are covered by reimbursements from Medicare, Medicaid and private insurance policies. Foundations, grants, bequests and planned gifts are also a source of funding. Hospice patients are never denied care because of their inability to pay. Expenses incurred from non-resource patients are covered by contributions. Because Hospice of Scotland County is a non-profit agency all donations are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.
